The excitement is starting for the Paint it Black, Thursday night football game, October 28th! Because some of the campus parking lots are used for game parking, select campus parking lots will close at 3 p.m. that day and student vehicles will need to be moved to other areas on campus. Students can begin moving vehicles at noon on October 28th. The ECU Parking office is asking parents to remind their student about this request.
Beginning at 3 p.m. on Oct. 28, the below lots will close for regular parking. These lots will reopen for game parking at 4 p.m. Individuals parked in the lots listed below should begin moving vehicles at noon.
- all C zone commuter student parking lots adjacent to Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium, Minges Coliseum, Clark-LeClair Stadium, the Holland Sports Complex
- all D zone resident student lots along Charles Boulevard
Any unauthorized vehicles remaining in the lots after 3:30 p.m. will be towed. Towed vehicles will be moved to the relocation lot on 14th Street near the ECU Steam Plant. Vehicles relocated from the D zone lot will be moved to spaces adjacent to the Blount Recreation Fields, as space allows. See football parking map for vehicle relocation areas at https://parking.ecu.edu/footba..., or contact ECU Police at 252-328-6787 for towed vehicle location.
Alternate student parking includes A1 zone parking on the main campus or B1 lots along Reade Street. A1 and B1 parking along 10th Street and the large B1 lot on College Hill are excluded as these are used for game day parking as well. A2 and B2 zones are only for those permit holders. A map showing alternate parking is available at https://parking.ecu.edu/footba...
