Carter, I did look at the website and I need to verify the move-in times for 8/16 but I was told that Friday 8/18 is the only move in day for College Hill Suites which is not what is listed on the website. How can all of the students in that dorm move in on the 18th?

I can see how the website is confusing. It appears the Campus Housing Office has dedicated Aug. 18 for moving into College Hill Suites. There are also a few other residence halls that have one day for moving in. Folks arrive at varying times throughout the day or take advantage of the optional Late Move-In option which help with the crowds.

"It appears" is not very reassuring. What is those who haven't checked this thread show up from a long distance away on Wednesday, August 16 to move in to College Hill Suites. Anyone who can definitely say what the move-in days are for College Hill Suites?

August 18th is the date listed on the website (though it is confusing which is why I used the phrase "it appears"). The date has also been confirmed over the phone with the Housing Office.

The only day to move into College Hill Suites is Friday, August 18th. The late move-in days are also an option on Saturday and Sunday.
Carter I called housing and they told me we had to move her in tomrrow the 16th and friday 18th was not an option (except for 7-10 pm w a $69 fee) for College Hill, or is Ballard East not party of college hill? i’m super confused but we just drove 8 hrs so we are moving her in tomorrow one way or another

College Hill is the neighborhood name and College Hill Suites is one of the residence halls in that neighborhood along with Ballard Residence Hall. You are correct about Ballard Residence Hall and should move in when you originally planned!
