Student Engagement Resources-

Student Organizations With over 450 registered student organizations, ECU offers nearly limitless opportunities for students to get involved, build connections, and enhance their learning experience. From academic and professional groups to cultural and recreational clubs, there’s something for everyone. There's even a club for our First Gen Students! I'm the First is a student organization that is to welcome first-generation students to East Carolina University by inviting them to be a part of a student body who share the same goals and experiences, aiding one another in navigating throughout college and life. Engaging in these organizations adds a valuable co-curricular dimension to classroom learning, helping students develop new skills and interests.

Fraternity and Sorority Life The Fraternity and Sorority Life office provides advising, support, leadership development, and resources to the university’s Greek organizations. Membership in a fraternity or sorority enriches the student experience through the pillars of leadership, scholarship, community service, sisterhood, and brotherhood. These bonds last a lifetime, providing valuable connections long after graduation.

Staff Support The dedicated staff at Student Engagement encourages all students to explore the diverse range of student groups at ECU. They are committed to providing the support and resources necessary for students to take full advantage of the opportunities available.
