Yes, definitely. I am sure that ECU has had to scramble, but we are coming up on almost 1 full year of 'alternate approaches' and the number of classes that continue to meet with no direct instruction or engagement from the professor is surprising and IMO unacceptable. It's easy to post a video about 'being well' but taking steps to ensure positive mental health and wellbeing are what is needed! Our NC universities should be leading the way and setting the standard for what adapting to these new challenges looks like.

The professors should definitely be doing live, virtual instruction and virtual office hours. Plus, they should put into place some of the suggestions I made above.
